Which Electric Car Polisher
How expensive are they?
A bottom end car polisher may only cost around $30, but using a cheap one could be false economy, after all one of the biggest nightmares when using electric polishers is the dreaded swirl marks.
Many manufactures of electrical polishers now offer models that simulate the polishing motion of the human hand only at a much higher polishing rate.
But how easy are they to use?
An electric car polisher is probably not something you would buy and use for the first time on your pride and joy, they are not difficult to use, but they do take a little practise to get used to and get the most from.

Whats' better?
Do they give a better finish than cloths?
Yes and No, a lot of this comes down to the polish that you are using, cheap and older types of waxes do require a lot of elbow grease to get a good finish so in this respect an electric polisher would be a good choice, but later polishes allow for a very good finish will much less effort.
Are they faster than cloths?
Over larger panels It is easier to get a better finish with less effort making it quicker, but when it comes to smaller areas this will still need to be manually polished.
Polishing Cloths

Car Polishing Cloths
How long should it take to polish a car?
A mid sized car can be polished pretty well in around 30 minutes, but again this depends on the vehicles actual size and the type of polish being used.
Can I re-use cloths?
Yes cloths can be re-used I usually have a bucket of them, when they get dirty I just wash then a lot at a time, I use a washing powder with a softener as otherwise it makes the cloths feel pretty rough, decent cloths last a long time if washed and looked after properly.
What is the best way to polish with a cloth?
Light circular motions until you cover a complete panel (remember to only polish lightly, polishing too hard can result in swirl marks and larger scratches.
