To me the best car polish needs to fullfill a list of things and I am not prepared to settle on any of them when it comes to my car.
The best car polish should go on easy
Not leave that horrible chalky residue
Do not have to perform a marathon to get a nice finish
Must leave a finish that will last
Must not cost the earth
And of course must leave a superb finish
After using Turtle Wax Protective Extra Gloss from their platinum range i really fits all this criteria and in my oppinion for the price its the best polish I have ever used.

I’ve tried a whole range of products to polish my car, and a i mean a whole range, and i’d have to agree with your other article Carnauba wax is an excellent car polish, the only downside i’ve experienced is how hard it can be.
If you live in a warm country it melts easily and does not require arms of Arnie to apply the stuff, but if you live in colder climates such as the UK then you really need something that still contains Carnauba Wax, but it must be mixed with something else, the problem here arises when companies advertise adding Carnauba wax, but some only seem to add a thimble of the stuff which leaves a poor finish compared to the full stuff.
So having tried lots of these products one i’ve found to work very well is Meguiars Step 3 Carnauba Wax Paint Protection, goes on well and gives a great shine, and another thing is the price which is around £8
